The portal improves the capacity of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to access and benefit from special international support measures adopted by the international development community for countries included in the LDC category.

Information on the availability of existing international support measures for LDCs is spread over a wide range of sources and are often not easy to locate. This site gives users access to a unique catalogue of data on the availability and utilization of the. The measures fall into three main areas:

For countries graduating from the category, the site also provides the necessary tools to assess the likely impact of graduation and assist in developing strategies for the posible phasing out of the support associated with LDC status.
