Lessons Learned:
Through BAACH, businesses leverage their expertise and capabilities to improve value chains – from production, processing and packaging to retailing and marketing – to increase food supplies, nutrition and incomes in hungry regions
 
Summary:
BAACH was formed in 2006 by a group of CEOs and public leaders to reduce hunger on the ground in Africa by strengthening value chains through business development and market linkages. BAACH promotes effective business models to reduce hunger, facilitates dialogue and engages in global partnerships with governments, NGOs, international agencies and communities.
The Alliance is a cross-industry, multi-stakeholder initiative championed by the Consumer Industry Partnership community of the World Economic Forum.
